Recipient of the 2015 Don Braunagel Award for Outstanding Work by the San Diego Critic’s Circle. Programmed and produced main stage seasons of 4 plays/musicals and numerous readings/fundraising events. Creates and tracks budgets, creates schedules, hires artists, and casts productions. Managed contracts with publishing houses and Actors Equity Association. Organizes and moderates actor/designer talk backs and surrounding events for our community. Works closely with our Board of Trustees to meet fundraising and organizational goals. Cultivated relationships with community and like-minded organizations throughout San Diego County. InnerMission productions has been producing V-Day events for over a decade in San Diego County (including One Billion Rising in 2013) and has raised over $100,000 to date for local organizations working to end violence against women and children.

OnStage Playhouse Internship Director, Chula Vista, CA 2006-2019 Developed and directed program for 13 years, creating a safe learning environment where under-served youth were given tools to embrace their individual artistic and creative paths. Planned all aspects of program including student/community outreach, budgeting, and grant writing. Maintained a high level of artistry through lesson planning and content creation. Designed workshops with local commissioned artists. Facilitated workshops and discussions. Oversaw and planned student outings to local theatre productions and developed educational materials to coincide with performance viewings. Developed and directed three original plays written and designed by young artists. Developed and directed original student produced short film over the course of a yearlong collaboration with “Outside the Lens”. Oversaw young artists serving as designers/assistant directors/crew for main stage productions. Worked with over 50+ students (ages 15-20) on fundamentals of performance, scene work, monologue study, and play writing with an emphasis on personal development and gaining self-esteem.
